The 2024 Mildura Eisteddfod
Information for entrants and audience members

Here you will find everything you need to know about entering and participating in the 2024 Mildura Eisteddfod, or coming to see the show.

Dates and Schedule

The 2024 Mildura Eisteddfod will start in late May and run until late June.   Disciplines and dates are as follows*:

Speech and Drama            Thursday 30 May - Friday 31 May

Pianoforte                         Saturday 1 June - Monday 3 June

Instrumental                      Tuesday 4 June - Thursday 6 June 

Classical Vocal                   Friday 7 June - Saturday 8 June

Modern Vocal                    Sunday 9 June - Wednesday 12 June

Community                        Thursday 13 June

Calisthenics                       Saturday 15 June

Dance                                Sunday 16 June - Tuesday 18 June

Choral                               Wednesday 19 June - Thursday 20 June

* PLEASE NOTE These dates are indicative only and are subject to change once entries are closed

Competition Rules

The Mildura Eisteddfod Society reviews and updates the competition rules on an annual basis.

Entries

Entries for the 2024 Mildura Eisteddfod are now open via Stardom.

Entry fees are as follows:

  • Single entry, 0-16 years - $15

  • Single entry, 17 years and over - $18

  • Group entry - $18

Program

The Mildura Eisteddfod Program will be released in May

 

The program will be available for download from the Mildura Eisteddfod Society Website.

A QR code link to the program will also be made available to all audience members attending the Eisteddfod.

Venues

The 2024 Mildura Eisteddfod will be held at the following venues:

  • Mildura Arts Centre, 199 Cureton Avenue, Mildura

  • Trinity Lutheran College, 915 Fifteenth Street, Mildura

The Mildura Eisteddfod Society is thrilled to welcome the following adjudicators to Mildura for the 2024 Mildura Eisteddfod:​

Accompanists

Entrants wishing to use the services of an accompanist should make contact directly with the accompanist. All arrangements between competitors and accompanists are made on a private basis.

 

Accompanists:

Backing Music / Sheet Music

All sheet music and backing music must be uploaded via the Stardom portal.

 

Music and files cannot be uploaded into Stardom until after entries have closed and scheduling has been completed.  The Eisteddfod Society will announce on social media channels when the upload function will open and close.

 

Please make sure your music is uploaded in this period.

Photography and Videography

Due to copyright laws, private videography and photography is not permitted at the Mildura Eisteddfod.

Gregory Williams Photography is the official videographer and photographer for the Mildura Eisteddfod.  Photos and Videos can be purchased from Gregory Williams Photography by visiting his website or calling 0408 596 654.

The registration process for the Eisteddfod includes permission for the Mildura Eisteddfod Society to broadcast, telecast or photograph any item performed in the Eisteddfod.
